A message from the Journal Manager:
Bibliometric research is crucial for mapping the scientific landscape, yet it is often undervalued, with many journals excluding it from their scope. This has created a significant gap, lacking dedicated venues for work that combines review with quantitative analysis. We believe rigorous bibliometric studies are indispensable for uncovering research trends. To fill this void, we proudly introduce the Bibliometric Analysis Journal: Quantitative Science Studies.

Subject areas may include, but are not limited to:

1. Foundational Methods and Novel Indicators:

2. Mapping Science and Collaboration Networks

3. Research Evaluation and Science Policy

4. Knowledge Diffusion and Emerging Trends

5. The Evolution of Scholarly Communication

Aims and Scope

Bibliometric Analysis Journal: Quantitative Science Studies is an open‑access journal dedicated to the quantitative study of science, scholarship, and research systems. Our mission is to advance the theory, methods, and applications of bibliometrics, scientometrics, and related analytics.

We publish original research, reviews, and methodological innovations covering a broad range of topics, including: foundational methods and novel indicators; mapping science and collaboration networks; research evaluation and science policy; knowledge diffusion and emerging trends; and the evolution of scholarly communication.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary work that bridges bibliometrics with computational social science, network analysis, and data science. We welcome studies that inform policy decisions, funding strategies, and research management, as well as critical discussions on the responsible use of metrics.

By providing a fair, low‑cost open access platform, we aim to support transparent, reproducible, and impactful quantitative science studies for the global research community.
